So it's pretty safe to assume there is very little chance of 50 vacancies by end of month. I know this is a crazy thought but is it at all possible that the job maybe using some fore-thought and wants to be prepared for summer details or perhaps te boston attack has got them thinking ok we need these spots filled before these lieuts pull the plug.
Could it be possible that there will be no promos throughout the summer (June, July, August)? As we know, much of the brass goes on vaca then. Maybe they are promoting 50 in may and nothing again until September

If I remember correctly, they had promotions on June, July and August last year.
