Question. Is it possible that some will just retire without the numbers reflecting it? In other words, are there more that can retire without being on terminal?
Many waive their terminal. sometimes it's not worth it to take it as it will effect their overall numbers. It's two months of not making OT towards their final number. Some maybe have already taken their terminal and come back again just get out.

Absolutely! Where I work, Lts would be crazy to take terminal because they make a nice bit of overtime every single month.
Cool. Reason I ask is because there is word that a boatload of LTs are retiring in August due to such a large academy class from August 1993. Hopefully its true

Saying "Yes it will" is not contributing to the conversation, just saying... Why not have everyone post if they agree or disagree with the previous post, that'll make it real fun to read!
so brat says no sgt class, numbers are now -14 and 50, could it be possible they are canceling sgts to put in a bigger LT class? Like another class of 50? Anyone heat anything further on the #s? Still 38?
